Classic Skating

Sep 08, 11 Classic Skating

classic skating Classic Skating offers a fun atmosphere filled with music, lights, disco balls, fog machines, and games. Classic Skating rents rollerskates, rollerblades, and scouter that can all be used on its 12,000 square foot skating floor. It is the perfect place to go in a big group on a night when you have a couple of hours to spare, or it can be used as a good way to impress a date with your sick skating skills. If skating wasn’t enough for you, a new Dragon Head bouncing slide has recently been added along with a space station play pin.

Each night Classic Skating has a different theme going on. Monday night is dedicated to the family. Tuesday is known as $2 Tuesday. Wednesday has been designated as “Funlimited Night” where you pay a fee of $7.50 and have unlimited access to everything at Classic skating. For price sensitive people, Thursday night is your “Dollar Night” with skating at $1 per hour with additional activities costing $2 per hour. Friday night is “date night” with 2 for 1 admissions with a college ID.  Last but not least, Saturday night is “Disco Night” which is only for ages 16+. If you dress up on Disco Night you get $1 off your admissions as well as another $1 off with a college ID.  Although there is no night dedicated to it, I personally enjoy skating in my 80’s attire, which I feel I look best in.

If you have never been Classic Skating before, it definitely needs to be added to your list of things to do in Provo.  Even if you are not confident in your natural skating talent, your presence will at least be enjoyed by those watching you struggle to stay on your feet. Classic Skating is located in Orem on 250 South State Street.
