BYU Basketball Games in December

Dec 08, 11 BYU Basketball Games in December

BYU BasketballDecember is going to have a few BYU basketball games you are not going to want to miss. On Saturday the 10th the Cougars are going up to Salt Lake to play against the University of Utah. The Cougars are 7-2 and the Utes have dropped their last 7 games and are 1-7. While the Cougars are expected to beat the Utes handedly you never know what’s going to happen with these rivalry games.

On Saturday the 17th the BYU basketball team will host Baylor University in the Marriott Center on BYU’s campus. The Baylor Bears are currently ranked 6th in the AP poll and 7th in the USA Today/ESPN poll. With the Cougars steadily improving, UCLA transfer Matt Carlino eligible to play, and home court advantage they should be able to give the Bears a run for their money.

On Thursday the 29th the BYU basketball team will head to Moraga, CA to begin conference play for the first time in the West Coast Conference. The Cougars will be facing St. Marys. The Gaels were ranked the number two team in the WCC preseason poll whereas the Cougars were ranked number three. How well the Cougars play in this game should be very telling of how they will do in conference play.
